Challenge:
In my "Layout and Typography" class at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.I.T.), we were assigned to create a marketing campaign for the Calgary Stampede using two spot colours. This was a design exercise that was not intended for public use.
My approach:
When deciding on the image for the campaign, I made a thoughtful and deliberate choice. I considered several factors, such as the colour scheme and typography, as these elements are crucial in creating an effective and impactful campaign. Ultimately, I selected an image that captured the essence of the campaign and resonated with the target audience.
Result:
The product was an 18” x 24” poster. It incorporated two spot colours.
